It wasn't the 10+ years of experience in all things consumer research that inspired her to start her own consumer research company. Nor was it the entrepreneurial stint as a coffee shop owner. It was the fundamental idea that impact happens when humans connect in person. So, how does she make bringing together humans from different parts of the nation, and sometimes the world into one room, in live-time look effortless? It's her expertise. Having spent over half her career in live-intercept consumer research, she's versed in developing research solutions for consumer products and services on a (very) tight timeline.

A social calendar more jam-packed than Paris Hilton's? Just about. After having spent 30 years in strategic marketing roles for companies such as Nestle-Europe, Coley Porter Bell, CCD Innovation, not to mention her own company, New Solutions, it's no surprise that this UK-native turned SF-resident is a familiar face to many. What would possess anyone to willingly be 'on' that often. According to this people-person, "It's the people. Nothing is more intriguing than getting to know someone for the first time."

How she gets them to open up upon first meeting is all a mystery. Maybe it's her enviable British accent or her nicest-neighbor-ever smile, or her genuine curiosity in understanding their lives. Whatever it is, she certainly knows how to connect with people. . . and dogs.
